A shocking news is coming out, which has created an uproar among the people. Let us tell you that 331 children were found to be HIV positive, causing a stir everywhere. This news has come out from Taunsa city in the Punjab province of Pakistan. These cases were registered between November 2024 and October 2025. Now the government hospital has been accused of serious negligence in this case. The report found that syringes were being reused in Taunsa Hospital. In many cases, injections were given to different children from the same medicine vial. This increased the risk of spreading the infection.
Hospital negligence exposed
The case came to light after the death of 8-year-old Mohammad Amin. His sister Asma is also HIV positive. Mohammad Amin’s mother says that the children contracted HIV from an infected needle during treatment in the hospital. The investigation involved 32 hours of undercover recording. It was seen 10 times that the syringe was reused in a ‘multi-dose vial’. In 4 of these cases, the same medicine was given to other children.
Infectious disease expert Dr. Altaf Ahmed, after watching the video, said that the back of the syringe can transfer the virus, even if a new needle is inserted. He described it as very dangerous.
